Eggless baby cereal biscuits with banana apple-sauce puree
This month, we've got a fantastic meal, which your little one is sure to enjoy. If you decide
to go on a trip this summer, eggless baby cereal biscuits with nutritious banana apple-sauce
puree are a perfect travel companion for babies and are a must for teething tots. Dunking
the biscuits in the puree will prove a quick and convenient treat for babies on the go.
To make the biscuits
Ingredients
2 beaten eggs
1 cup of sugar
1tsp Vanilla
2 cups of flour
method
- Beat eggs and add sugar, vanilla and flour and mix well.
- Roll dough between 2 sheets of floured baking paper to 1/4 inch thickness.
- Cut into shapes and place on cookie sheet, lightly greased.
- Let stand overnight 10-12 hours, then bake at 180?C for 20 minutes. These are hard
and dissolve, but don't break up.
To make the banana apple sauce puree
Ingredients
2 Apples
1 Banana
method
- Peel, core and cut apples into slices/chunks.
- Place slices or chunks into a pan with just enough water to slightly cover
apples.
- Boil until tender; be sure to check on the water level.
- Apples may be mashed with a potato masher to achieve a smooth
apple sauce consistency or you can puree in a food processor.
- Peel a ripe banana and mash in a bowl with a fork.
- Add applesauce to the banana and mix until smooth.
